ReX-T 2.0 released

Software

ReX-T 2.0 is now released as first beta. Which means it probably still has a few bugs; please give me feedback if you find one!

ReX-T is a helper application that lets you develop, test and try out Regular Expressions, which can then be used in REALbasic, TextWrangler, BBEdit or any other application that supports PCRE-style regular expressions.

A Windows version is in the making, too.

Get more info (and a link to download it) on the Product Page.

New version of ReX-T coming…

Software

I’m currently adding a few improvements to ReX-T, the RegEx helper tool I published someday back in 2003.

Expect a new version (Universal, of course) coming in a few days!

New: DavePlayer

Software

During a recent WoW party, a friend told me he wanted to let his PowerBook play a certain movie at startup, but didn’t know of a movie player application that quits automatically after playing the movie. So I promised to write one for hime; here is the result. Enter…. DavePlayer 1.0. It’s still beta, and it does just one thing: Play a QuickTime movie (in fullscreen mode) and quit.

Try it and let me know if you like it. It is, of course, free.

Please go to the download page to get DavePlayer 1.0.
